Finishers Empty Finishers

Post by zolea Wed Mar 26, 2008 4:13 pm

So I am sitting in political science bored off of my ass right now. So I was thinking of my favorite finishing manuevers of all time, and found that I love a lot of them so ended up breaking them into catagories so here we go.

Catagory one,Heavey weights:

Pin: Black Hole Slam or if you are old school Scrapbuster Pin(big bossman)- I used to do back yard wrestling and nothing hurt worse than this.

Direct Damage: Choke slam/Jack knife powerbomb- They are just awsome to watch

Submission: Crippler Cross face- Don't care what anyone says Benoit should be in the hall of fame!

Catagory two: Light weights:

Pin: The BME- No one has a moonsault like Daniels.

Direct Damage: The shining wizard- Awsome move and effective too.

Submission: The Damascus head-leg lock- Just brutal.

What do you guys think?

Black Hole Slam DOES hurt...
i have once done wrestling moves with my friends when we were drunk...and my friend who is a body builder made Black Hole Slam to me....damn, my neck was killing me...

But i made a Crossface to my friend and almost dislocated his arm..Very Happy

this is what we do in Finland..Very Happy

Well, Crossface saved my a** a time or too... Judo background does help to lock one of those in the middle of a fight Smile

The only one I know from the listed ones is Choke Slam!
When i started to watch wrestling (not long ago) i liked 619... but know it doesn't impress me anymore...
I'm still impressed with some of the divas pinning maneuvers! Razz specially Melina Very Happy

Heavyweights: Pin: Tombstone Piledriver Direct Damage: Clothesline from Hell (I know, it's just a clothesline, but believe me it's not! With all the speed, it wrecks!) Submission: Edgecator (It's a Sharpshooter with twice the damage.)

Lightweights: Pin: 630 Splash (That thing's insane!) Direct Damage: Spiral Tap (Once again, crazy good!) Submission: 3 way tie between Daniels' Koji Clutch Combo, Joe's Caquina Clutch, and Melina's California Dreaming (You are going to laugh at me for this one, but it's basically a Sharpshooter with the neck pulled back. It hurts!

what the f*ck? a sharpshooter with the neck pulled back? oh snap. hey and by the way i have my own submission maneuver.it's a kind of a triangle leg choke. doesn't hurt very much but if I stay on the ground and pull back the chin of the opponent it should hurt. at least i was original creating it.

I think I never saw the California Dream... Anyone got a video?

Well, I like the Sharpshooter and the Walls Of Jericho. It's a High Angle Boston Crab, but it's good... at least it's not a STF Smile

Go to 2:40 in this video. That's the California Dream. Not quite a full Sharpshooter, but with the neck wrench it wrecks! Not really an STF, I would call it a High Angle Grapevine with Bridging Neck Wrench.

The STF is Cena's finisher... Another good sub finisher is the Anaconda Vise, but Punk stopped using it... And the Pepsi Plunge is simply incredible.

California Dream is a Cross-Legged Bridging Neck Wrench.
