Need some help!

I need to make a video.I have the video in AVI format.I need to insert some pictures in it.How can I do this? With what program can I do it? Please help me,i must finish in short time.Thanks!

you can always use windows moviemaker but it isn't so very good

it's good enough if you just gonna insert some pics, so if you have windows movie maker (im guessing you have it) then you should use that
